Meet the Novi RoboTitans

They are an all-girl middle school FTC robotics team from Novi, Michigan. They started their first team back in 2016 and, to be honest, they're pretty awesome. How awesome, you ask? This year, they built a robot that brought them all the way to the state championship of the FIRST® (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology) Robotics Challenge.

Here is a photo of their robot at the state championship showing off its killer Game Element Stacking skills. It was so skilled, in fact, that it earned their alliance 1st place overall in the competition. By winning the gold, they qualified for the world championship, which would have taken place in April (I'm sure you can guess where this is going...)

Yes, the FIRST® World Championship was unfortunately cancelled due to the current restrictions resulting from COVID-19. As a result, the team (and their awesome robot) were unable to see their journey to the very end. But that wasn't going to stop us from celebrating their incredible achievements, especially considering one very important item that was used to build their robot...

So in honor of their hard work, dedication, and overall awesome nature, we at Keene Village Plastics would like to award the girls from Novi RoboTitans with our highest honor...
